BFG 2017 sire line up – Mahango
Posted On 07/03/2017
This Manitoba son promises good dual purpose character with above average frame and muscling character. He is a genomic sire without daughters. Udder quality promises to be high – this is in line with many of his grandfather`s daughters that are milking Fleckvieh crossbred cows in North America. Fleckvieh genetics are very useful to promote highest milk production cows in the world as well as sensible animal production where beef and milk value can both be gained from this heterogeneous breed. He is above average in calving ease as well. At the time of this update – March 2021 – this heavily used sire has 2196 daughters and shows continued strength and productive lactations.
