BFG 2017 sire line up – Merowinger

This is a son of Meru and grandson of Manitoba. Meru and Manitoba both are great sires with many daughters milking across North America. He looks promising regarding excellent calving ease and longevity. He is a genomic bull and scores high with regards to udder quality, high milk production and feet and legs.  Fleckvieh bulls in this genomic category are not as predictable since they have no daughters to prove themselves. At the time of this update – March 2021 –  this sire has now 59 daughters and shows good performance in dairy character, high udders and longevity. An excellent sire indeed!
